Herb is Chairman of the Board and former CEO of Ventech Solutions. He has led and transformed our company from a commercial services company to a public sector prime contractor in state and Federal civilian and defense agencies. Herb continues to provide guidance to Ventech Solutions, ensuring our sustained growth. During Herb’s 36-year technology career, he has led numerous technology companies, public and venture capital backed start-ups, including as worldwide vice president of sales, general manager of southern European operations and CEO of three companies. He also founded and owned two companies and experienced successful exits with three other technology firms. As President & CEO, Ravi brings a unique mixture of business acumen and technical expertise from the information technology (IT) industry to lead Ventech Solutions. Through a smart entrepreneurial lens, Ravi is our visionary leader and is responsible for our corporate strategies, globalization, partnerships, marketing and our unique company culture.
Ravi has experienced being a small business owner and has applied best practices of being a successful entrepreneur in the IT industry throughout his entire career. Randy joined as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ventech Solutions in May 2016. He is responsible for upholding strong financial management and accountability while providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information and enhancing internal control at Ventech Solutions.
Prior to joining our team, Randy served as an audit senior manager at RSM US, LLP where he led attestation and consulting engagements for closely held businesses that provided services and products to federal and state governmental agencies. He has more than 20 years of experience working with government contractors and has led consulting engagements in cost management, performance management, strategic planning, budgeting, government contract compliance and reporting and organizational change.Dismiss
Tonia is Chief Growth Officer and leads the company’s business development. She brings more than 20 years of expertise and is expanding Ventech Solutions’ growth in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Ventech Solutions, Tonia served as senior vice president and general manager of the Federal unit at Truven Health Analytics, an IBM Watson Health Business. At Truven, Tonia led the healthcare team to sell and deliver services and products to various federal healthcare agencies. Tonia also worked as a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, heading their CMS account.Dismiss
DJ Nag, Ph.D.
DJ is Chief Investment Officer and leads our venture commercialization team in developing new IP solutions. He works with universities, Federal labs and global research organizations to collaborate and invest in new ventures and open innovations. Prior to joining our team, he successfully led technology transfer at The Ohio State University, Rutgers University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is credited for creating more than 70 startups and successfully licensing hundreds of technologies. DJ also served as the Director at Ocean Tomo and was on the Board of Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM). He currently leads the Management Council for Education at the Licensing Executive Society’s (LES) Board and teaches as adjunct faculty at Rutgers University and visiting professor at Shizuoka University. DJ holds a Ph.D. and MS in biophysical chemistry and an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.Dismiss
As our Chief Delivery Officer, Gene brings more than 25 years of innovative technical and business leadership in building, managing, and advising high-performing federal and commercial businesses. He is a business-driven, results-oriented leader with documented successes in designing and deploying technical, operational, and consultative organizations. Gene uses his program management, business acumen and operational skills to drive flawless, on-time delivery of enterprise solutions to our clients.
In the past 12 years, Gene has directed business strategy, capture, and program implementations focused on transformational initiatives and IT modernization. His strategic design and acquisition advice helped the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and U.S. Food and Drug Administration acquire enterprise programs valued at more than $10 billion. Gene’s extensive experience includes designing and implementing IT modernizations and establishing strategic business partnerships. Prior to joining Ventech Solutions, Gene managed Adobe’s strategic engagement at CMS and was responsible for Adobe’s public sector healthcare Go-To- Market strategy.Dismiss
Kirk joined Ventech Solutions as Senior Vice President of Government Solutions and is focused on aligning the company’s portfolio, including existing technical tools, new tools, and emerging technologies to meet the business needs of its government customers. He also manages Ventech Solutions’ relationship with ServiceNow.
Kirk brings over 20 years of experience in consulting, analytics, and information technology services for government and private sector organizations. He has held several executive positions including CEO of Livanta LLC, CIO for the State of Maryland Department of Human Resources (now Department of Human Services), vice president for Truven Health Analytics, and acting group director and division director within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.Dismiss
As Global Vice President, People & Talent, Chris leads the strategic human resources direction, talent acquisition and talent management for our company. Chris and his team work with leadership to implement employee engagement initiatives, workforce planning, and programs that reinforce Ventech Solutions’ People 1st culture and servant leadership values.
Chris is a U.S. Navy veteran whose career encompasses more than 25 years of human resources experience and leadership working in several Fortune 500 companies as well as more than 15 years of leadership in the federal contracting industry. As Ventech Solutions’ Senior Vice President for Program Delivery, Ken brings more than 25 years of technical, business, and thought leadership to our federal and commercial teams. He oversees our day-to-day program delivery activities across all of our client engagements and provides technology leadership and direction. Ken is focused on quality outcomes and provides strategic directions for defining delivery of business and technical efforts for both our healthcare and defense business lines.
Prior to joining Ventech Solutions, Ken was a chief architect in the healthcare practice at Booz Allen Hamilton focused on the ACA Federal Marketplace and other key health initiatives. For nearly 20 years, Ken has supported the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs by providing business strategy and direction of system and enterprise architecture, data center design and operations, transformational initiatives, and IT modernization.Dismiss
As Vice President & Controller, Donna leads Ventech Solutions’ accounting and finance operations with a focus on driving excellence in the areas of finance, payroll, tax, compliance and audit requirements.
Donna has more than 25 years of expertise and leadership in financial management, accounting and as a controller. She joined the company in 2016 and has been instrumental in establishing standardized and comprehensive processes. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Empire State College, along with an M.B.A. in executive management and finance from Ashland University.Dismiss
Tim Moore, Ph.D.
As SVP of Commercial Enterprise Solutions, Tim leads our commercial healthcare IT solutions product line and expansion of Ventech Solutions’ business across a variety of commercial sectors.
Tim brings more than 30 years of federal, academic, military and commercial RDT&E experience. He led Auburn University’s successful effort to establish a new medical college and capture effort for the $57 million heptavalent botulinum vaccine production program. He has held multiple senior-level positions including vice president for research at Florida A&M University and associate vice president for institutional advancement and research program development at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.Dismiss
Vivek Ramakrishnan, Ph.D.
As Managing Partner, New Ventures, Vivek is responsible for new investments, M&A and overall strategy for the company. He brings ample experience in licensing, intellectual property management, medical device investments and technology commercialization. Vivek’s career experience has focused on creating cost-effective solutions to unmet needs, including the development of a non-invasive treatment for chronic sinusitis. He has managed new health technology investment from both the banking industry and through private equity investment, helping develop new products and services around the world.
Before joining Ventech Solutions, Vivek was the Managing Director of Innovation Banking at Xinova, President of AxioSonic and a Director at Intellectual Ventures. He has also worked at Johns Hopkins University, the National Institutes of Health, and Beckman Research Institute at City of Hope on academic-industry technology transfer.Dismiss
